Pilipinas Akyathlon is the premier Skyrunning event in the Philippines. The 2017 edition will have 3 categories:

42km SkyMarathon® 
As the main event, the 42km SkyMarathon® will determine the Filipino Skyrunning Champions (male and female). It is an out-and-back race that starts at the Tinongdan Indigenous Heritage Site and follows the trail leading up to the summit of Mt. Ugo (2,150 masl) and then retraces the same path (with minor variation) back to the Finish line. 

25km Mountain Run
The 25km Mountain Run uses the same route as the SkyRace® but makes an earlier turn around at Sitio Lusod.

10km Road to Trail Race
The 10km Road to Trail Race is an introductory course into trail running. It's composed of roughly 30% road and 70% trail.

Runners will be privileged to run across rice fields, under a pine forest canopy, and over hanging bridges to cross the Agno River. Participants will share the trail with the local Ibaloi communities that reside on the mountain as well as their livestock.

Each runner is expected to be self-sustaining, with his/her own hydration gear and nutrition; however, medical/aid & water refilling station stations will be available in multiple points along the route.

42km SkyMarathon: 7 hours at the summit, 13 hours at the finish line
25km Mountain Run: 8 hours at the finish line
10km Road to Trail Race: 4 hours at the finish line

QUALIFYING RACE: None

MEDICAL CERTIFICATE: Mandatory for all categories
- For submission during Race Kit Claiming. STRICTLY, no medical certificate, no race.

PACERS are not allowed.

We highly recommend that participants stay overnight at Baranggay Tinongdan. A list of available homestays will be provided soon. We will also provide transportation assistance by arranging jeepneys from Baguio to the Race Venue (not covered by registration fee).
